Here are some frequently asked questions from our customers and prospective customers.
Q: How much do you charge?
A: We normally charge by the hour for maintenance work, however if there isn't a full hours work to be done then we will only charge for time spent on the garden.
Landscaping jobs are charged by estimations which factor in, work involved, hire costs, tipping costs, etc. We would normally quote a landscape for a fixed fee that factors in all these costs.
We also offer O.A.P discounts.
Q: Are you insured?
A: Yes, we are covered by Public Liability insurance up to £1,000,000.
Q: What days and hours do you work?
A: We normally work Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm. We also work some Saturdays for landscape jobs or catching up. We do not work on Sundays.
Q: Will you maintain or work on my garden while I am out or away?
A: Yes we will, if it has been previously arranged and we have access to your garden.
Q: What is the preferred method of payment?
A: We normally accept cash or cheque as the preferred method of payment. We currently do not accept credit card payments.
Q: How often can you visit?
A: Weekly, Fortnightly or Monthly. It is entirely up to you, we cater for our customers needs.
Q: Do you perform tree work?
A: Up to a certain size, yes. Trees in some areas are covered by conservation orders and some trees are not covered by our insurance. If this is the case then we will give you a recommendation to a specialist tree surgeon.
Q: Can I buy my own materials for a landscaping job and you provide the tools and labour?
A: Yes, if fact we would recommend this as it would make the job easier for us. The links page lists some landscaping suppliers that we recommend. However we would advise you to contact us first before buying any materials.
